crossfire-maps software package provides Standard set of maps for crossfire, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install crossfire-maps
crossfire-maps is installed in your system.
Make ensure the crossfire-maps package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep crossfire-maps *
You will get with crossfire-maps package name, version, architecture and description in a table
